This is a very reluctant sale due to owner's ill health.
Pastoral Dancer alias 'Inky' is a very kind and gentle horse. He is well mannered and easy to handle. very affectionate once he knows you and loves being made a fuss of. However he is sensitive so liked gentle grooming!
Since retiring from racing he has competed BE and BD with 2 previous owners and is well schooled. I have owned him since February so am very sad to be in the position of having to find him a new home. I have enjoyed hacking him on his own or with others - he's a well behaved hack and totally traffic proof.
Since owning him he has had his teeth done, had vaccinations restarted and as he was very stiff through his neck and back has had physio which has made a difference. He has been worked on a long rein and still responds best to a light contact.
I have a copy of a 5 stage vetting which he had just before I bought him, he passed with no issues.
He came with 2 small sarcoids which are being monitored under advice from our vet. Inky needs a loving knowledgeable home with daily turnout. He is stabled in day/out at night in summer, stabled at night/out in day winter, and is always rugged when it is wet or cold
Would enjoy a varied life of hacking, and low level competing - does need a competent, confident rider so novices please.
